BiographyLee BURNS. (defender/midfield). Not many players have achieved cult status at two separate clubs, but there’s no doubt that is the case with Burnsy. Originally signing for the Rocks as a fresh-faced teenager under Lee Patterson in 2000, local lad Lee blossomed to become a key member of the side. Like Ryan Scott, Burnsy also had a gap year or so playing down under, and re-joined the Rocks on his return home. When Patto left to become manager at Braintree Town, Lee was the only Rocks player to go with him. Lee then joined Dartford in 2009, going on to make 275 appearances for the Darts, scoring 33 goals. In 2016, Burnsy moved back to re-join his hometown club as the Rocks prepared for life in the National South. He now has well over 425 appearances for the Rocks under his belt, prides himself on his fitness and shows no sign of slowing down.
